Topics covered include: tasting wine, grape varieties, basic viniculture and viticulture, and the world's most important wine producing regions. 101 is the place to start for beginners and those who wish to solidify a foundation in wine studies and practice wine tasting. 101 is not a prerequisite for Level 2, but does provide students with important and useful information.

This course goes into greater depth than Uncorked 101. If you have a basic understanding of wine making and wine appellations then Level 2 will be perfect for you. This course will provide you with proficiency in the field of wine. We will cover several of the world's most important geographical areas and include comprehensive comparative tastings.
